Massive thanks and big 'pat on the backs' to all for a fabulous opening night of Bad Boy Johnny at Retford. It totally surpassed my expectations and was easily the best musical I've ever had the pleasure to see. This is already becoming my favourite show from Rockman Music, very much looking forward to seeing it twice more! Good job guys!

What an amazing time we had last night at Retford. We expected it to be good but from the moment the show started it was awesome! Brilliant from beginning to end...what more can I say?
We've seen "Vampire's" many times and this is a completely different show but great to see familiar faces...nice to see new faces too. Always quality performances. Can't wait to see Bad Boy Johnny again!

I went on Saturday to see the show it’s like a rock opera. The acting and singing was brilliant. Loved it all. My best bit was confession time. x

Caught the premiere at Retford last night and thought i would tell you what I thought.
As a regular 'victim ' of Vampires Rock to be honest I was as nervous as you must have been on your first night. In the past whatever happened you could always rely on popular rock anthems brilliantly played that your audience know and love. Not the case this time eh! would it work? and to be honest I wasnt sure how much I would miss those anthems too.
I needn't have worried, two songs in and I was hooked. The music rocked hard and I was loving it, in Vampires the storyline was a loose but acceptable device to link together some amazinging music, this time was a different kettle of fish with a properley developed story that took 'proper' acting, you nailed it!
Highlights were Steve's comedy portrayal of Father Maclean, Emily 'The Voice' for her ballads and Henry for the final song, wow...
Finally let me say that i would rather watch you guys at a small theatre for £20 just 20 feet from the stage than see some rock dinosaurs charging £80 a ticket looking at the back of 20,000 heads at a speck in the middle distance anyday. My wife says that she would gladly have paid an extra fiver if Henry had taken his shirt right off even for a minute.
Cheers, will catch you again at Newark
NIGEL
